Protagonists of the 9th edition: Italy / Spain; new: Lithuania's presence at the MFC for the first time
Queen of the 9th Edition of the MFC is Palma Futsal, followed by CFS Eixample; the two clubs reach 4 category finals out of the 7 available, winning 3. To Orange Futsal the merit of countering the strength of the Spanish teams and winning the Under 17 category. A pleasant return of Marca Futsal, winner the U9 category. To the two teams from Abruzzo the two victors in the adult category.
An edition conditioned by external events, complicated by the the resurgence of the pandemic, finished brilliantly thanks to the effort and constant commitment of the entire organization.
Despite the great difficulties of the case, the tournament confirmed the expectations of the eve, thanks to the value of the individual teams and the individual qualities of the players.
Many positive notes: adhesions are growing; 6 nations, 32 clubs, 54 teams, about 500 registered athletes, more than 1,000 people present, including technical staff and guests in tow.
A 5 days of sport with a constant commitment with 8 hours of futsal played per day, in the four arenas chosen for the management of the 9th edition of the MFC.
Spain confirms itself as sovereign of this edition: Palma Futsal is the winner of the Under 11 and Under 13 categories; still in the Under 13 category, the Spanish club places its two teams in the final. In the Under 15 competitive categories, Palma is confirmed again by reaching the final, losing against his fellow countrymen of CFS Eixample after an exciting match.
Even more exciting is the Under 17 final between CFS Eixample and Orange Asti Futsal; wins the Italian team of Asti, outstripping the Spaniards.
There is the welcome return of the Marca Futsal, which with its Under 09, wins the category tournament, without losing a match, scoring the beauty of 40 goals in 4 games.
In the Under 19 category, male and female, teams of Abruzzo assert themselves, in particular the selection wanted and organized by the Abruzzo Regional Committee; a competitive team capable of responding to the Hungarian team of Tolna Musz Futsal. A praise also to the boys of the City of Chieti, winner of the Under 19 tournament.
A note of merit for the two French teams of Futsal Academy Antwerpen and Futsal Les Geants; both clash against the Spanish teams, the only real impediment to the very finals of the category.
We thank the two Lithuanian clubs of the Vilnius Futsal School and BC Zalgiris for their first participation in the Montesilvano Futsal Cup; for both a positive performance with an excellent ranking.
There is enthusiasm and the ninth edition of the MFC collects the interest of clubs from the European continent
A few days from the start, the ninth edition of the Montesilvano Futsal Cup is colored with flags; in addition to the home colors, the flags of Spain, Belgium, France and Hungary are also waving to the sky, plus Lithuania with two clubs for the first time ever.
We struggle to defeat the pandemic and we do it, also by restoring confidence in all environments, including sports. The Montesilvano Futsal Cup is a sporting event, with the aim of overcoming our territorial borders, to encourage integration, knowledge and sporting and cultural growth between different countries. Today the commitment is to re-establish old habits and restore confidence in the whole environment, instilling a spirit of optimism, especially among the very young athletes, who have suffered from the restrictions imposed starting from social distancing.
The Montesilvano Futsal Cup maintains its tradition unchanged, managing to organize the tournament again this year, proving to be an important event for all of the world youth futsal.
Many well-known names, like many loyal companies, which every year try to reconfirm their presence, despite the difficulties generated, not only by the pandemic, but also by the very strong increase in prices on services.
In this scenario, there is the extraordinary news for the participation of clubs from Lithuania, we talk about the Vilnus Futsal School, from the city of Vilnus and BC Zalgiris from the city of Kaunas. We are honored to welcome these two new realities that for the first time will compete in this competition.
There is the expected return of Palma Futsal, important name in this sport, even if on the Italian front we register the presence of one of the top-flight clubs, Real San Giuseppe, awaiting another confirmation shortly. illustrious of our championship.
Less than a month after the start of the tournament, the board of the participating clubs is slowly being completed; we are close to 30 companies with about 60 teams ready to give life to the new edition of 2022.
We return to talk about futsal quality, class, entertainment and mostly guaranteed fun.
The eighth edition of the MFC overcomes the difficulties of COVID-19 and returns us to normal
The Coronavirus affected the normal execution of the tournament; the numbers of the 8th edition are more smaller than in the past, but confidence has grown, as confirmed by the presence of two European companies, which have chosen MFC to get out of this ordeal.
Organizing such an important event in just over two months is a real challenge, faced the disastrous events that have changed the lives of all citizens of the world. It is vital believing that everything can be like before, it takes courage to continue those operational projects before Covid-19.
The MFC (Montesilvano Futsal Cup) is a tradition for all youth futsal movement; considering the timing it was important to follow up, bringing all the young athletes back to the field, desirous to relive the emotions of a top-level sporting competition. The result was surprising due to the adhesions of the 21 participating clubs, including 19 national and 2 foreign (Belgium and France).
Four categories, from Under 11 to Under 17 for a total of 109 games played; a surprising number concentrated in just 4 days.

Pescara Calcio returns to victory in the Under 13 category. A 10-teams category, with the surprising exploit of Futsal Les Geants, which in the qualifying round ends with full points, just like the winning Pescara Calcio B does. Two very strong teams, who in the final play an intense match, full of goals and twists.

As it happened two years ago, when Ariccia Valmontone won the Under 17 category on its first participation, another team from Rome replicates the feat, the Sporting Hornets who have the honor of raising the cup, beating in final the highly accredited Fortitudo Futsal Pomezia; a match with few goals, which confirms the robust structure of the two teams.

In the Under 11 category, nothing is taken for granted; the winner of the Futsal Les Geants, conquers the first place in the group, against fierce coompetitorss; in group B the Elledi Fossano Futsal wins the group with full points, but then it will be Cantera Adriatica to challenge the French in the final. Cantera Adriatica who had beaten Hellas Monteverde in the semifinal, who had won all three matches in Group C.

In the Under 15 category, Sporting Altamarca wins the penalty shoot-out against Sporting Club Marconi. A thrilling final where the coldness of the boys is surprising, all extremely precise from the penalty spot.
MFC 2021 will be remembered as the edition of the rebirth; in these days the organization is already working for the 2022 edition; to date, with a sporting season that has yet to come, there are many expressions of interest from all over the world.
Stop Pandemia it’s finally over! Montesilvano restarts!
Corona stopped has stopped the time; more than one years out of fields but now it’s time to kick the present and go back to living the emotion of the past. There are the conditions to leave and thanks to this the organizing machine of the most important youth futsal tournament in the world start operating again. On 26 June take place the eighth edition of MFC
The 2021 edition of the Montesilvano Futsal Cup will be remembered as the event of rebirth; the main goal is not to repeat the numbers of the past, but to restore confidence, to confirm that the disastrous situation caused by the pandemic has not erased all the good work ; MFC will almost certainly be the only event able to reconfirm itself, thanks to its prestige and its trust gainef at national and international level; we confirm, for the 2021 edition, the membership of two friendly clubs, those of Futsal Academy Antwerpen and Futsal Les Geants , Belgium and France respectively
The participation of foreign clubs is an important message, even if the eighth edition has the characteristics of the Italian flag, with the surprising participation of new teams coming from Regions of Sicila, Toscana and Lombardia. We must remark the numerous enrollments from the city of Roma but also Napoli, with the historic Napoli Calcetto, the Elledi Fossano Fusal from Piemonte and Sporting Altamarca from Veneto.
Obviously a special thanks to the Abruzzo clubs that as always show a very strong interest in the event, offering an active and important collaboration for the success of the tournament.
We thank you for your trust
There are only a few days left before the start of the tournament and the map of the participating clubs is summarized within this flyer.

LOCKDOWN: The MFC STOPS
Covid-19: the 2020 edition of the Montesilvano Futsal Cup will not be held. Next appointment on July 3, 2021.
With great sadness we are forced to communicate the cancellation of this 8th edition of the Montesilvano Futsal Cup.
It is a severe blow to our event which for years represents one of the most exciting and qualified moments of the world youth futsal but we guarantee that we will return with the same commitment, enthusiasm and passion that characterized the previous editions.
To all clubs, athletes and stakeholders we send a virtual hug and give the appointment to the next edition which will take place from 27 June to 3 July 2021.
USA lands in italy to mfc through partnership with NORTHEAST FUTSAL FESTIVAL
Extraordinary sporting agreement with one of the most important sporting organizations in America. North and South American teams are expected at the next edition. MFC 2020 will be a memorable edition
We are delighted to announce a partnership with Northeast Futsal Festival.
The Northeast Futsal Festival is a joint initiative between Global Premier Soccer (GPS) and Northeast Futsal Association.
GPS is one of the largest and most successful soccer / futsal organizations in North America, providing player development programming in twenty-four states across the USA as well as Puerto Rico, Canada, England and Spain. The Northeast Futsal Association holds on-court, classroom and online programming, providing the highest standards of professionalism through coach and referee education, player academies and clinics, league and tournament management, and more.
The champions of the 2020 “International Open” (the elite level component of the Northeast Futsal Festival being held February 22 and 23, 2020, in Boston, Mass.), will automatically be qualified to participate in the Montesilvano Cup.
MFC has identified the Northeast Futsal Festival as a strategic partner both for its organizational and professional capacity both for its growing attention to Futsal.
The alliance with Northeast Futsal Festival in this sense has a strategic value as it allows to create interesting relationships in countries where Futsal is experiencing a huge expansion.
“We are honored to be an official qualifier of such a prestigious event and can be confident that all winning teams will have a memorable experience in Italy, along with 450+ teams coming from over 19 countries at the Montesilvano Cup”, said James Hamblin, National Tournament Director of Global Premier Soccer.
Through a partnership between Global Premier Soccer and Northeast Futsal Association, the Northeast region has the opportunity to play and experience futsal in a way that sets “The Festival” apart from everything else ever created.
“We strive to create the best and most inclusive experience for futsal the region has ever seen”, said Zach Rocha, President of Northeast Futsal Association. “We felt our inaugural event last year was successful but can be even better. We believe that through partnerships with top class events like the Montesilvano Cup, it will be.”
MFC 2019 - The best edition ever
More and more the Montesilvano Futsal Cup compares clubs of different cultures and traditions, promoting knowledge and the exchange of ideas.
The Montesilvano Futsal Cup ends, the most beautiful edition ever.
The key element of this edition is the growing number of companies from all over the world; Australia and Colombia are the two novelties of this edition.
A week of great futsal; the result for each category has never been so uncertain; the technical rate of the teams made it impossible to predict, making the competition even more fascinating.
Below is the summary of this seventh edition of the Montesilvano Futsal Cup:
UNDER 09 and UNDER 11
Among the categories of the youngest, Under 09 and Under 11, the Breton clubs of England and Scotland are still confirmed; the Under 11 confirms the primacy of Olè Futsal; an excellent quality roaster, whose members of the squad boast a pre-emption with the best English football clubs. But there is a confirmation, which is not a surprise, that of the football school of the Naiadi Accademia Sport; the Pescara team has already won in the past, proving to be a reality to look at in the growth and training of young talents.
UNDER 13 and UNDER 15
The tournament with the highest number of participants continues to be that of the Under 13 category; like last year, also in this edition the organization has limited the requests by setting the limit to 20 teams, as had already happened last year. Many pretenders to the title. We talk about the talented Japanese of Brinkar; club that hands down the tradition of Brazilian football, exercising Ginga; a basic technique of capoeira, which in football translates into the exercise of dribbling, header, fast pressing, aggressive dribbling, spectacular shooting. With them the English of Olè Futsal, considered by all to be one of the most important and successful futsal clubs in the world. The very strong selection of Sporting Club Marconi wins surprisingly, deserving, after having played a perfect final against the English of Olè Futsal.
In the category of agonists, the surprising victory of the F6 Academy in the Under 15 tournament stands out; coach Fernandao’s team beats the Italian selection led by coach Ronconi’s technical staff; a splendid game, played at a dizzying pace. A quote for Napoli Calcetto and for Aramis, two valid contenders, who obtained a prestigious place in the final classification, narrowly missing the right of access to the final.
UNDER 17 and UNDER 17 female
A special note for Cioli Ariccia Valmontone, who in her first appearance at the Montesilvano Futsal Cup, won the Under 17 tournament, beating the very strong Ukrainian selection in the final. For mister Rosinha and company a prestigious victory, achieved with pride, tenacity and fighting spirit, distinctive elements that distinguish her boys.
The most important news comes on the women’s futsal front. Finally a group of 8 teams, with participation coming from all over the world: Australia, Hungary, Ukraine, Colombia, Finland, to which is added the Italian women’s selection. The tournament was won by the very strong Ukrainian selection; while appreciating the qualities of the suitors, the Ukrainian selection is impressive; organization and physical power, the main characteristics of this team.
UNDER 19 and Individual Award
We close with the Under 19 category. The Colombian team of Liguilla Futsal Oriente beats the very strong team of Inter Movistar. Never as in this edition has the result been more uncertain; we reward the winner, but let’s not forget the other contenders such as Top Futsal Antwerpen and Acqua & Sapone.
We conclude with the two most prestigious awards:
“MARCO GIORDANO” (COACH OF THE FENICE) award for the most talented player of the tournament
Erin Beard (AFA Australia team2)
“SIMONE MARTYNIAK” Award (MARCONI AND LAZIO C5 FOOTBALL PLAYER) for the most talented player of the tournament
Francesco Caramia (Sporting Club Marconi)
Football is not the only positive note of this week of sport. A strong friendship was formed with the Australian group; a kind and refined people. The Colombians are nice and colorful, lively and deeply respectful.
We thank everyone for accompanying us on this long week of sport, in the hope that we have done everything possible to make this journey unforgettable for everyone.
The wish is to see you again next year, on the occasion of the 8th edition of the Montesilvano Futsal Cup.
Thank you
MFC 2019 – FUTSAL WORLD
The countdown has started, a few days after the start of the event, the latest confirmations arrive and the grid is now complete: 43 registered companies, from all over the globe.

The MFC 2019 is increasingly an international sports project for youth aggregation; the excellent reputation has meant that the event is known and appreciated all over the world.
Nonetheless, we are surprised by the interest from some countries, in which the organization has not launched any communication and marketing initiatives. This is the confirmation that the work done in recent years is the best business card to present, to achieve maximum consensus.
This explains the sensational participation of Australia and the Indian Federation.
We can talk about FUTSAL WORLD, as stated on one of the evocative shirts, printed for the occasion, which tends to effectively concentrate the transmitted message.
MFC 2019 earns the right to be one of the most important youth sporting events in the futsal world.
It’s time to present the companies that will participate in the 7th edition of the MFC.

Also this year, there will be seven categories, from the little Under 9s, up to the men’s Under 19; the women’s project is also well underway; like last year, this year too there will be the Under 17 girls.
Surprisingly, in the draw, we point out the presence of four national selections; Ukraine, Italy, Australia and India, who show up for the appointment with a selection of the best youth sector players from their respective countries.
A resounding success, which led to the development of impressive numbers:
- 43 companies present; 14 nations and 4 continents represented;
- 7 categories; 84 participating teams; 218 matches to be played;
- 5 reference cities: Montesilvano, Pescara, Sant’Angelo, Chieti and the Municipality of Silvi.
More than 1,500 people are expected at the event, including athletes, technical staff and guests, for what promises to be the edition with the highest rate of foreign participation. To all of them we welcome and to our territorial realities, we address a particular recommendation: “may this experience be a showcase for all of you”.
It is necessary to thank the LOTTO company which this year has chosen to be present at the event as a technical sponsor. Our wish is that they can continue over the years, linking such a prestigious brand to the no less prestigious Montesilvano Futsal Cup.
We extend our thanks to the host municipalities, which, like every year, support us in the success of the project.
At this point we just have to wish everyone a lot of fun.
