The PalaElettra is one of the numerous sports halls in Pescara; a multifunctional arena with a capacity of nearly 3,000 seats. The structure can host any type of indoor competition, from basketball, volleyball and other non-sporting events. The PalaElettra is cared for down to the smallest detail: seats in the stands for a more comfortable view of events, harmonious and warm colors, a polished wooden parquet that characterizes the playing rectangle.
The Palaelettra is equipped with an infirmary, an anti-doping laboratory, changing rooms, services and warehouses to support sports activities.
The structure hosted the women’s volleyball competitions of the 2009 Pescara Mediterranean Games, for which it was completely renovated and adapted for the holding of the event; during the games the building hosts the matches of National Division B.
